Margaret Ann Martin and Adrienne Stetson Forrest Duet Scholarship

Middlesex-New London Chapter of CSMTA is proud to offer Duet Scholarship opportunity.

This scholarship is made possible by a generous donation of Adrienne Stetson Forrest, an accomplished pianist, and an avid duet player.

 Eligibility: All participating students must study with a teacher who is a member of Middlesex- New London Chapter of CSMTA. For students applying for Division 2 one of the students must be no younger than 10 years old..

 Awards: First and Second Prize will be awarded in each of the following categories:

Division I:1st and 2nd place

Division II: 1st and 2nd place


Division 1: two Elementary to Early Intermediate level duets.

Division 2:  two Duets at the Intermediate to Advanced level of difficulty, one of them must be classical by nature.

Monetary Awards will range from $50 to $100 per performer ( depending on the number of participants)

Memorization is not required. The appointed adjudicator will provide positive written feedback for each performance.

Application deadline: Application forms, registration fee (postmarked) and YouTube video links should be sent by April 15.

The winners will be announced the first week of May.
